I am an Italian clinical psychologist, with over 25 years of private counseling experience, started a few years after my graduation from the University of Turin in 1997. I deal with individual and couple therapy, but also group therapy. My psychological support is aimed in particular at women, children and couples who experience difficult moments related to stress in the work or family environment, within the couple, but also due to external factors such as job loss or mourning. These are difficult and delicate situations that can cause depression, anxiety and panic attacks, which if not addressed with the right support can compromise the quality of life and lead to more serious problems. I believe counseling is a collaborative process and good treatment can really change your life. One of the vital aspects for a successful therapeutic interaction is a genuine, supportive and empathic relationship between the client and therapist. I focus on the clients strengths, but I also direct attention to those behaviors and thoughts that prevent people from achieving their goals. I am a caring, sunny and open person and my personality is reflected in my professionalism as a therapist. I always create a welcoming, serene and judgment-free environment, where customers feel safe and free to express themselves at their best, to work together and face personal challenges. My goal is to develop and understand the impact that life experiences have on behavior and mood, to identify obstacles that interfere with self-esteem, relationships and personal goals. Color therapy is a therapeutic approach that I love to adopt especially with children or with those who find it difficult to express their emotions. Colors can be associated with particular moods, based on the symbolic value attributed to them with respect to the clients cultural background. The use of colors in recipes or drawings helps to communicate emotions through ones creativity; colors in turn affect the mind and therefore have a positive impact on mood.
